Our Mission is SHARING JESUS with one another and the world, inviting all to join the family of faith and to follow Him with their lives.

Our Beliefs

The Authority of Scripture

The Bible (Old Testament & New Testament) is the God-breathed Word of God & consequently is the authoritative rule of faith & practice. It is the standard by which all human conduct & creeds should be tried.

The Trinity

There is only one true & living God who is revealed in scripture as God, the Father, Jesus Christ the Son of God & the Holy Spirit of God. God possesses holiness, omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, love, mercy & all other perfections. All humankind owes to Him supreme faith & obedience.

Humanity

Though created in the image of God, through Adam's fall humanity is now sinful, lost & condemned. By deliberate choice all participate in sin, which is open rebellion to God's law. Notwithstanding the fall, all human life through creation has value and dignity. Each individual is responsible to seek & discern the truth as revealed in the scriptures & with the help of the Holy Spirit based upon the priestly work of Jesus Christ, & is accountable to God accordingly.

Justification by Faith

Human beings can be forgiven of sin & justified solely through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ who died for sinners & rose again from the dead. Only by repentance from sin & faith in Jesus Christ the Lord can people be eternally acceptable to God.

Regeneration

Regeneration is the work of the Holy Spirit by which the believer receives a new nature from God. Christian growth or sanctification is the continuation of the new life principle which begins in the new birth.

The Ordinances

The ordinances of baptism & communion are a sign of faith by those who have confessed Jesus Christ as Savior & repented from sin. The mode & practice of baptism is revealed in the New Testament as immersion by those who have believed. Communion is a symbolic confession of the fact that one has already partaken of the blood & body of Christ. Both acts represent the commitment of those partaking to continue to walk faithfully.
